Only 3 works in the world,the cut glass comb made in Japan,200 years ago

 Last year I post the cut glass comb and cut glass hairpine made in Japanese samurai society,Japan, about 200 years back.As to detail,please read the post on 23rd,December,2018.

 Since then I have reserched about this comb via the museum,antique shop,libruary and so on.
 New fact is that these has been only 3 in Japan.

   2 are at museums in Kobe city,Hyogo pref,and Matsuyama city,Ehime pref. And one is at my home.What we call,that is only 3 works in the world.

 At the end of 19 century,the lord of Satsuma-clan,present Kagoshima pref,Shimadu family,produced the glass imitated the cut glass"Baccarat" in Western world.And Satsuma exported their glass to the world and sold the daimyo,the lord of family,and shogunate in Tokyo.My resident area,Kanazawa city,was No2 powerful area next to Edo,Tokugawa shogunate.But soon the revolution has been occured and Japanese samurai society was disappeared.The term which produced these cut glass in Satsuma-clan was very short and most of them were distinguished by the revolution war. Moreover,according to the curator at the museum,these cut glass comb and hairpine were speciality for the princess or wealth people.In Tokyo the same type cut glass has existed now but it is for the common people.On the other hand Satsuma-clan glasses were for the wealthy people.Only 200 old satsuma glass,200 years back,remains in Japan,now.
